Stress keeping you up at night? Here’s a drug-free way to get some rest…

If you’re like most people these days, the uncertainty and fear that comes from an unprecedented pandemic can make it almost impossible to get a good night’s sleep.

So, if you’re longing for deep, healing sleep, I have good news. Today I’m going to show you an easy method that will help you get some much-needed rest.

It doesn’t require any dangerous sleep medication, special equipment, or supplements. All you need to do is “tap” your brain to sleep. Let me explain…

A unique tapping trick quiets brain chatter

Like I said, these days you might feel like it’s impossible to smooth out anxiety, quiet your mind, and doze off into a restorative sleep.

But Jim Donovan has devised a simple, drug-free method that will help you achieve a great night of sleep—night after night.

Jim is a professional drummer, teacher, and therapeutic researcher. He developed his Whole Body Sound Healing System to help you energize your brain, ease physical pain and depression, and help you get the much-needed rest you crave.

Jim says, “If you’re like me, your mind might have a non-stop dialogue constantly running in your head. Sometimes at bedtime, I get a thought stuck in my head that loops around and won’t go away.

“If this happens to you, Brain Tapping can help.”

Jim says he uses this Brain Tapping exercise every single night.

He designed it to stop mental “chatter” and looping thoughts by giving your brain a different pattern to focus on. He explains that this helps your brainwaves slow down—an effect called the frequency following response.

Here’s how it works…

The simple path to relaxation and sleep

To begin Brain Tapping, make yourself comfortable in a place where you won’t be disturbed. You can do the exercise sitting or lying down—whichever you prefer.

“Next,” Jim says, “take 10 seconds and notice how you feel in your mind, body and mood. In particular, I’d like you to notice if you are feeling any pain or tightness anywhere in your head.”

When you’re ready, you’ll begin tapping your fingers lightly on the tops of your legs or chest—alternating your hands right-left, right-left.

Now follow these steps and take your time. Take breaks when you need to…

  1. Close your eyes and take a deep breath.
  2. Begin tapping your fingers gently on your legs or gently on your chest. Alternate in a right-left-right-left pattern.
  3. Tap at a speed of about four taps per second.
  4. As you tap, let go of thinking and focus on the tapping. If a thought comes into your mind, it’s okay—acknowledge it, and then come back to the sound of your fingers tapping.
  5. Continue for at least 60 seconds or as long as it feels comfortable to do so. Be sure to breathe slowly.

When you’ve finished, Jim instructs to take a full minute to notice how you feel. Common reactions to this exercise are feeling relaxed, mentally clear, sleepy, and content.
